Do you have a cute panel or large scale print that you would like to highlight in an easy and quick quilt. Or use what we did which was Woodland Winter by Deb Strain by Moda Fabrics. Quilt finishes at 61 1/2" x 61 1/2".
These directions are poorly done...doesn't say cut 7 - 2 1/2" strips for binding doesn't say qty or size...doesn't tell you how many strips to construct blocks...just cut 80, so after the first strip, you can get 17 and will need 5 strips. With 2 different versions, light and dark...my fabrics are light but the majority of the pictures are for the dark version. The block diagrams are not extremely helpful and very confusing when say use Fabric 3. Purchased from My Favorite Quilt Store...it mentions going to website to make sure no corrections have been made but not willing to pay $14 for the downloadable pattern. Not happy by any means.
Hi Elaine- So sorry about your experience with our pattern. Honestly, some of your review does not really make sense- but I will try to help a bit.
Many commerially designed quilt patterns do not include how to do binding. This is generally a given. A quilting 101 can also help with this. We designed this pattern to go with a specific line of fabric. EXACT fabric skus and EXACT cutting directions are included. I am not sure what fabric you were using, but we suggest making notes as to corresponding fabrics (as you would need to with any pattern that you are not using the specific referenced fabric). The number system we use makes it SO EASY to use other than the specific line of fabric without worrying about lights and darks. But the images of course will not match your fabric. We get so, so many positive comments on our large, step by step graphics. And after 15 years in business and hundreds and hundreds of patterns- that adds up to a lot of positive, sweet comments.
Our Website includes corrections to any pattern we may find after printing. This of course, is free, as on all websites so I am not sure why you are referring to having to pay $14.00. But as the case may be- this pattern has no corrections as it was correctly written as is. And so happy that we have had many kind words about our patterns, include this one. And we find no record where you have ever purchased from us.
